ReplyDelete1. Cooperation
2. Cooperative
3. Reciprocity
Cleopatra H. Answer to question number 2.
ReplyDeleteI think it is the last one because of the simple fact that people rarely give up something close to them so that it could benefit in the future. Especially when they don't get to see it blossom or its outcome.
answer to number 2
ReplyDeletewhen people give stuff up with the expectation that it will receive in the future.

ReplyDeletei feel like it is not permissible to kill three and save one they all should die

Cleopatra H. Answer to question number 3.
ReplyDeleteIn my own personally view of it I do but I do not think it it permissible to flip the switch to save three people but kill one. Im in between on this one just because I cant see my self taking someone else life and saving my own and the people around me. I think thats injustice and cruel.
answer to number 4
ReplyDeletei don't think you should kill them or try to save them because as a doctor u have to protect other people to as a doctor

Cleopatra H. Answer to question number 4.
ReplyDeleteI think if the healthy person is willing to give up his life to save the life of five others then its a good cause but, if the person is completely healthy with no problems then I don't think its fair but, I also don't think its fair to let five sick people die when they have available organs at their hands.

3. The Doctrine
answer to number 6
ReplyDeletei would wait as long as it takes for the person that i was connected to me to get better until we can disconnect from each other.
but some humans are selfish and wouldn't want to wait that long for them to get well.
cindy antone
Cleopatra.H answer to question number 6.
ReplyDeleteI would let me and that person stay connected until nine months have passed.
This shows that some humans are very selfish and rude and it shows you that if it is not in that persons best intrust it doesn't matter at all if the other person suffers because of it.
1. Kinship, cooperation, reciprocity
ReplyDelete2. I think it is the rarest because people don't think alike and they have different moral values.
3. Yes, because the person is saving many people. Unless the people he was saving were bad and the person who sacrificed was good.
4. No, because those people obviously don't deserve to live if they were going to die.
5. The intention principle, the action principle , and the contact principle.
6. people are afraid to kill others to survive. I would not kill the famous violinist because people would be out to kill me, and if the violinist survived, he could give me money for keeping him alive. (incentive)
1. Cooperation
ReplyDelete2. Cooperative
3. Reciprocity
GLORIA #1
1. The three types of cooperation in the evolution of moral sense are cooperation based on kinship, then both people receive some cost, and last is reciprocity.
ReplyDelete2. I think that the rarest is reciprocity because many people have a hard time giving up things that they value to hope that what they valued will do good. They also may be too scared or don't have faith.
3. It is morally permissible to flip the switch because that one person who dies could be somebody who was a bad person and the other ones who live could be good people who have a life.
4. It is not morally permissible to kill a healthy person to harvest their organs and transplant them to five sick people to save their lives because what if the sick people wanted to die and the person who was healthy wanted to stay alive. Why would you take away some ones life for sick people? If the people is sick and they die it was their time to die.
5. The three principles that our moral grammar is based on intention or the doctrine of double effect, the action principle, and the contact principle.
6. This shows that humans are scared and freaked out about certain situations like that. It also shows that religion and culture sometimes have to do with peoples decision makings. If I was in the situation I would stay connected to the famous violinist so that way we could become really good friends and so after the nine months the violinist could support me with whatever I need since I supported them with blood.
MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT OTHERS WILL NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING IN RETURN. THEREFORE THEY WIT TILL SOMEONE GIVES THEM SOMETHING 1ST.
ReplyDeleteGLORIA #2
I WOULD JUS MOVE THEM OUT THE WAY SO NO1 WOULD DIE.
ReplyDeleteGLORIA #3
I DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO. I THINK ITS WRONG TO KILL ONE PERSON WHO WASNT GOING DIE FOR OTHERS.
ReplyDeleteGLORIA #4

ReplyDeleteACTION

1. the three types of cooperation are based of kinship meaning family, they get individual cost and benefits, and one individual shows something but also expect they will receive the benefits in the future.
2. Because not everyone believes that they should have to give something back.
3. i would say it depends because say if my family member or anyone is on a track i don't think anyone should flip the switch because no one should have to go through something like that.
4. no because they are still healthy i could see if they were not healthy.
5. the intention principle, the action principle, and the contact principle.
6. most people said that they would unplug oneself frome the dude.

ReplyDelete2) i think that what they did was very beneficiry for them because of the coopration
3) yea i think is better to kill one ensted of killing five
4) why does he has to die if he is healty and the others are sick
5) intention principle, action principle , the contact principle
6) he shiold stay connected to one another so he will live i think

ReplyDelete#1 cooperation based on kinship
both individuals recive some cost but both benifit
reciprocity
#2 i think its like that because they want what is it the have now an don't want to wait maybe they think its not going to be as good in the long run
#3 i don't think its right but ill rather have one person die then five
#4 no because that person deserves to live to but if they wanted to do that then its a diff story
#5 i don't knw what i would do
1. kinship, cooperative hunting behavior, reciprocity
ReplyDelete2. people expect to receive things rather than give them
3. Permissible to flip the switch and have one person die to save 4 lives because you cannot control a runaway trolley.
4. It would be wrong to kill someone for 5 others. If the person died first on his own and the doctor split the organs to save the 5 sick people, then that would be okay.
5. intention principle, action principle, and contact principle
6. They should stay connected so that they can live.
Maria Martinez
ReplyDelete1).language instinct, relatively and cold calculus
2). i think the rarest is reciprocity because what they were doing, it was more benefitial for them.
3).because it's better t kill one than to kill five.
4).because how come he has to die if he is healty and the others are not.
5).action principle, intention principle and contact principle.
6).they shud stay connected so he will live. i dont really now what will be my reaction in his case but probably i will run away or try to do something about it.
Capriah Rochell
ReplyDelete1.The three types of evolution of the moral sense is cooperative based on kinship, cooperative hunting behavior, and the third is reciprocity.
2.Reciprocity is the because people are willing to give up something bbecause that are expecting to get somethning back. Its the rarest because in somes cases that that alwysa dosen't happen.
3.Yes,because even though i would feel bad that i couldn't save evryone,i would feel better that i saved more than one life,& maybe they could help me save that last person if its not too late. Also its just the right thing to do as a person, just do as you can,and yeah the last person will kn ow i tried.
4.Yes,because honestly if i could save five people by giving my life up so they could live then i would.I would feel good because i saved people lives.
5.The three principles that are moral grammar is based on is the intention priciple,or the doctrine or double effect, the action of pronciple, and the contact priciple.
6.I don't know what that means ,honestly. If i were in this situation i would really try to find out how we got connected.
1. kinship, both receive some cost and benefit
ReplyDelete2. Because it is always hard to give something up. We usually want to benefit now and don't think about the future.
3. Yes it is because if you are able to save even one persons life then you would. To save four lives and sacrifice one or kill all of them its just right to save four.
4. No because that would be considered murder and there is no reason to kill him, he has the right to.
5. the contact principle, the action principle, and intention principle
6. that humans would kill to be free. I dont think its right because if it would save him then i would be willing to wait 9 months.
Terry Moland
ReplyDelete1. Kinship,Cooperative hunting, and Reciprocity.
2. I think dthe rarest is reciprocity
3. I thiks it's ok to flip the switch if the person that is making the decision is willing to be the person that dies.
4. I dont think it's ok to kill the healthy person because that would be murder which would be actively causing harm.
5. The intention principle, the action principle, and the contact principle.
6. I dont think it's right to kill the violinist because that would be activiley causing harm and murder also. This shows that humans would commit murder to be free of disabilties. I wouldn't kill him.
1. The three types of cooperation in the evolution of moral sense is kinship, cooperative hunting behavior, reciprocity.
ReplyDelete2. The rarest because people rarely show acts of sacrifice. The individual might have grown close to what ever he/she might have to give it up. we usually look for what is good for use now and don't think about the future.
3. yes, because if you think about it "kill 1 person save more"- unkown. same concept if you had the choice. you should kill that one person to save more people than that.
4. no, because thats man slaughter and those five people will die of natural cause.
5. The three principles that our moral grammar is based on is the intention principle or the doctrine of double effect, the action principle, the contact principle.
6. It shows that humans are selfish and they will gave themselves before anyone else. If it was me if i woke up I would be startled and my first choice would be to disconnect myself. Its like a pregnancy and i will go with it.
